# Configuring Rules

Important Instruction

Please ensure you configure all the rules by enabling the maintenance mode. Failure to do so may result in transaction and data loss.

  

# Basic Rules Settings

  

Basic rules settings may be configured under \[Settings\] > \[Rules\] > \[Basic Rules Settings\].

  

| Rule | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Enable Rule | If checked, it will enable all the rules. |
| Cascade Rule | If checked, it will cascade all the rules. |
| Setup Rule | Its a nested rule and follows a workflow. |
| Cancellation Rule | If checked cancellation will apply by default. |
| Email Rule | Its a nested rule and follows a workflow |
