# Using Templates

# The Basics

Templates allow you to create, store, and reuse designs including text, images, videos, border and fonts.  
  
Templates can give you: 

*   Efficiency: So you don't have to re-create same template with same design.
*   Flexibility: Non-developers can edit template designs and copy in your account.

  
Once you’ve created your templates, you can personalize content and start using it.  
  

# Creating Templates

You can write your own template in HTML directly in the Templates section and more likely that you’ll write it elsewhere and paste it into your account. There are a 2 ways to do so:

1.  Add your custom code to a template
2.  In Templates, paste your custom code into the editor

  

Please make sure you do not delete the main template. Doing so may affect the clone template and your design.
